JOB OPENING Date of Announcement: March 18, 2009 Deadline: March 25, 2009 Date of Opening: IMMEDIATELY POSITION: Computer Maintenance Assistant CLASS: PC-2 REPORTS TO: Computer Maintenance Manager WORK LOCATION: Business Office, CIL PURPOSE Under the supervision of the Computer Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of the TelNet infrastructure and information technology equipment. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES 1. Indonesian citizen 2. Computer Science with S1 degree preferred 3. Previous experience for a minimum of 4 years with use and care of hardware including PC 4. Has CCNA or CCNP background is preferred. has strong knowledge of Exchange 2003, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP. Novell Netware and SUSE Linux knowledge a big plus 5. Previous experience for a minimum of 2 years, with CISCO devices: Switches, routers, NAC, Lightweight Access Point, firewalls, VOIP Servers and Unity Voicemail 6. Previous experience working with MS Windows Server 2003, and Office XP, Novell Netware and SUSE Linux a big plus 7. Experience with FO and UTP Cabling 8. Excellent Indonesian and English language skills, verbal and written 9. Can transfer heavy objects such as computers 10. Honest and trustworthy 11. Willing to work as a team and in extended hours to meet schedules DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES . Assists the Computer Maintenance Manager with regular installation, maintenance and repair of TelNet infrastructure including: All Cisco devices, UTP cabling; changes or additions to Work Area, Horizontal, Administration, Backbone, Equipment Room and Campus Subsystems . Assists the Computer Maintenance Manager with regular maintenance and repair of information technology equipment including: computer hardware; computer software; printers; scanners; other external peripheral devices; VOIP Infrastructure . Assist the Computer Maintenance Manager with regular business process of infrastructure maintenance . Assists the Computer Maintenance Manager with all administrative task to all Windows 2003 server, Novell Netware 6.5 Servers, Cisco Call Manager/Cisco IVR and Cisco Unity and SUSE Linux Server . Helpdesk Support . Documents systems and applies patches . Assists with new technologies and configurations . Completes orders for machine repairs outside and follow up . Maintains inventory data in the computer of information technology equipment . Continues to develop new skills in the area of technical support Builds Positive Interpersonal Relationships . Fosters a sense of identity and pride in JIS and Business Office among colleagues . Maintains an open attitude toward new ideas . Collaborates with the Business Office team, school wide teams and staff within the other areas of the school Ongoing Professional Growth .
