STUDENTS MEET MEMBERS FOR LUNCH
Students, meet with a member of the ASA for lunch! The ASA Education
Committee arranges for a student to meet one-on-one with a member of
the Acoustical Society over lunch. The purpose is to make it easier
for students to meet and interact with members at ASA conferences.
Each lunch pairing is arranged separately. Students who are interested
should contact David Blackstock, University of Texas at Austin, email
<[email protected]>, telephone 512-343-8248 (alternative number:
512-835-3374). Give Dr. Blackstock your name, university,
department, academic level (graduate student or undergraduate),
research field, acoustical interests, and days you are free for lunch.
The sign-up deadline is ten days before the start of the conference, but
an earlier sign-up is strongly encouraged.
Each participant pays for his/her own meal.
