Subject: New Animal Bioacoustics special session added to Providence meeting


The bioacoustics group in the Acoustical Society of America will sponsor an 
additional special session at the ASA Meeting in Providence in May, 2014.

This special session, "Acoustics as a Tool for Population Structure," organized 
by Shannon Rankin and Kate Stafford, will examine the potential as well as the 
complications and limitations of using animal sounds as a tool for identifying population 
structure.

Remember the deadline for submission of abstracts is Monday, 16 December 2013.
