Just FYI When I run update.packages(repos = biocinstallRepos()) it reports everything up to date. But if I run biocValid() it reports multiple packages (100s) out of date. This is presumably because while the package versions are correct, they were build using R-3.0.0 and not R-3.0.2. I see I can fix that using biocValid(fix = TRUE).
But it may be worthwhile to update http://www.bioconductor.org/install/ perhaps even suggesting biocValid(fix = TRUE) to be the default updating mechanism?
