Hello! Thank you for your interest in the hubs. We would agree that hosting on AWS would be better than a google drive.
Firstly, there is an off-list h...@bioconductor.org email to direct future hub inquires and questions too. I will send the credentials in a private email follow this one to allow you to upload your files to a temporary location on S3. Once the data is uploaded, we will move them to a permanent location. In order to add the data to the database, We need at least a basic shell of a package that includes a valid, complete DESCRIPTION file and inst/extdata/metadata.csv file. You will eventually need to submit this package to the submission tracker like you did for preciseTAD. Hopefully this gets you started. I am interested in having an accompanying experiment data package where I will be storing approximately ~5gb worth of rds (or Rda) objects. They are currently being stored on a google drive but I would prefer them to be accessed via AWS. I have been reading the tutorial for how to accomplish this via experimenthub using https://secure-web.cisco.com/1TMpKSH4CQS1ndNXVk-cxZ5rvxuAK7Gef6Wx4ybNByrtkiLzN8dh-sqjwDyn1goqX02tT1qfBlnPzinaTLLifBLSCJnVtTAYjhAVERB838I5CgdTw4kpkb3jncHO8VCNgAp4NJYthAfGXJ_dZbI3kfd5rE4mUacC7l-vd_qa68l8BjKV9w9IcBjN0pAigi4KNefHIOOMNQnkbC7HVN23_vC6K_e3cDufvXEHnj7KiB7K_QQpeB2HZ7EhWrHgWowTJVR_HaWZ0jAcQdmoqKewbBQTTxCkFSVgxbotcdvXbdu1Yv-_6t-95dMERHWZ9lvRx/https%3A%2F%2Fbioconductor.org%2Fpackages%2Fdevel%2Fbioc%2Fvignettes%2FExperimentHub%2Finst%2Fdoc%2FCreateAnExperimentHubPackage.html%23overview Under section 2.1 of the above tutorial it mentions that this requires assistance from a Bioconductor team member. I am new to this, so I just want to make sure I am going about this correctly. I would greatly appreciate any input/advice from someone more experienced in the matter. Also, is it correct that I need to have the experiment package created before the data is added to the hub? Thank you ahead of time for any help you can provide!
