I'll try that.

Thank you Sean.

Hello,

Installing BioC packages is very easy. You just do, for instance

source("http://bioconductor.org/biocLite.R";;)
biocLite("ShortRead")

How do you install Rmpi?

I am running Fedora linux and there seems not to exist an Rmpi rpm package for
x86_64.

First, have you installed and MPI library?

Assuming that you have an mpicc (from one of the MPI libraries), at the linux
command line (as root or using sudo, if installing for system user):

CC=mpicc R CMD INSTALL Rmpi_0.5.7.tar.gz

where RmpiXXX.tar.gz is downloaded from CRAN. Emails like these might best go
to the r-sig-hpc list.

Hope that helps.

Sean
