Hi,

I'm happy to produce conduit-based bindings for Samtools--it looks like it 
would be pretty straightforward. I haven't used the library myself yet--I got 
the sense that the interface may still be in flux and there is also a "pipes" 
library to consider?

As a note, I put my package repositories on github, which seemed like the 
easiest way to make them generally accessible
