It woulud be nice if a single iteratee-based library would establish
itself. Right now I was looking at what the reverse-dependency system
said and conduit wins with 90 or so entries. Of course the whole yesod
system counts for a lot of it.

Regarding pipes, I seem to see some convergence going on with conduit.
Otherwise 'pipes' seems a bit like a good idea but not enough people
doing something with it. Kind of like with IterIO (nice tutorial of
iter's in there).

Regarding samtools: I do not need bindings immediately, but hope to have
time for applications in this area toward the end of the year (can't
call it "2nd half of 2012" anymore). So I would say, don't start writing
a wrapper just now, wait a bit.
