Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of SNPs of which I do have their chromosomal location. I do however need their location in centiMorgans. Currently I am fetching for every gene two known nearby centiMorgan locations (using NCBI's genome viewer) and interpolate to derive the centiMorgan location for every SNP inside the gene, using a small script I wrote. This method is a bit time consuming and needs to be automated in the near future. Does anyone of you have any idea of how to go about this? Is there a way to fit biojava in?
