I have just a difficulty: is there still a blast xml parser in the
biojava 3.0-SNAPSHOT
I am not able to find it...
I have found

with a good tutorial here
http://biojava.org/wiki/BioJava:CookBook:Blast:Echo
but it seems to be part of biojava 1.8
can you confirm me?
