This morning during our regular warbler survey in Newmarket's Mabel Davis
park, our attention was drawn to a very agitated Blue Jay, upon further
inspection we discovered the reason for his agitation. An Eastern Screech
Owl desperately trying to get some sleep. unfortunately the Blue Jay would
not allow that and continued harassment until the owl finally gave up and
flew off with the blue jay in hot pursuit.
Mabel Davis is located on Davis Drive Newmarket just east of main street
Newmarket.
