Greetings Birders, Yesterday, Stephane Menu, bander in charge for Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory caught and banded a second year female Hermit Warbler at Cabot Head, Bruce Peninsula. The bird was carefully identified and released. It has not been reported since. I will post an update if the bird turns up again.
Cheers, Ethan Meleg (Tobermory) Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory www.bpbo.ca Directions to Cabot Head: Take Highway 6 north up the Bruce Peninsula. Go right on Dyers Bay Road. Follow to the t- junction, and go right. The paved road bends left and down into the villiage of Dyers Bay. Follow the road along the shoreline (driving slowly, there are many cottages here) and watch for the small sign for the Cabot Head lighthouse on the right. Turn onto this long gravel road that leads out to Cabot Head. - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
