Two additional tires have been added for the grebes nesting in Bronte
Harbour. The original nest has about 8 eggs (none have hatched). A new tire
placed near the picnic dock has a nest with one egg. The other tire, at the
east end of the "grebe basin", has a pair of grebes in attendance but no
signs of nest building. A total of 12 adult Red-necked Grebes were observed
in the harbour this morning.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Rd. (Oakville) and go to the lake,
turn left at Ontario St. and park near the restaurant.
