The Buff-breasted Sandpiper spotted in Port Hope by Jean Iron and Pon Pittaway was still feeding at 10:15 AM today, August 18. When I observed the bird it was at the far end of the remaining sod section closer to Sylvan Glen Rd. of course with the sun position the colouring was better observed from Hawkin's Rd.
