The Avocet was still present this afternoon [Sunday] around 2pm, as were the
Golden Plovers. They were in the south-west cell, farthest from the road.

An immature American Avocet was the Winchester Sewage Lagoon this morning.
It was in the company of 21 American Golden Plover; a Stilt Sandpiper was
also present, along with other more common species.

Directions: from downtown Winchester take the Ottawa Road north, the lagoons
are on your right shortly after the road turns to the right.
