Sun---sun--beautiful sun, BUT also NW winds ---  15 counters and many others
visited Cranberry on this Nov.21 day. I thank everyone of them for their
camaraderie, observing and sharing of  their own skills. Starting around
1030 AM the migrating raptors were moving overhead in good numbers from
various directions.
The total of 97 is superb for a November day. The total after 93 days is
8377 migrating hawks.

  --- 1 N.Harrier, 10 Sharp-shinned, 3 Cooper's, 1 RED-SHOULDERED (he was
magnificent), 72 RED-TAILED,
 3 Rough-legged, 2 Kestrels, 1 MERLIN, 4 Unidentifieds.

We now have a new large bird-feeder near the roadside for your
winter-viewing.

Cranberry Marsh is at the base of Hall's Rd., accessed south from Victoria
St., 1 block east of Lakeridge Rd. in southwest Whitby .
