Best Holiday Wishes: There were > 12 turkeys west of 880 McKenzie Rd. south of Caledonia this a.m. December 28. They were not shrubs. Also many assorted raptors were active. T=6 C.
There is a farm with the 880 sign, look west- there were on a distant grassy knoll (?winter wheat) next to a hardwood lot. They semed quite timid. Directions: Caledonia is on Highway 6 south of Hamilton about 25 km. McKenzie Rd. runs roughly parellel, and just east of the highway as it continues south to Hagersville. Aprroaching from the north, crosse the old bridge over the Grand River, and turn left almost immediately onto Wigton St. This veers right and becomes McKenzie Rd.
