A lovely sunset here today south of the airport, but what a cold wind......
Nevertheless, I had 6 Short-eared Owls at various points along Earl
Armstrong and Bowesville Rds late this afternoon! The cold hasn't driven
them away and they were busy hunting with their erratic moth-like flight, 2
of whom flew right over my car! They had been on the south side of the
road, but ended up on the north side with all the others.

birding section with its superb directions!

Cheers, Eve
