Birders,
With temps at 60F in St. Louis yesterday, the birds
are
coming. Today's flow was from west to east along the
Lake St. Clair shoreline 1 to 3 miles inland. Species:

Lapland Longspur 33
Horned Lark 82
Snow Bunting 12

A male Red-winged Blackbird sang from the ditch along
Wallace Line, 8.5 k east of Windsor.

Directions: Take the E.C. Row Expressway east from
Windsor past Jefferson, Banwell, Manning and Padillo
Roads. Wallace Line is the next road on your right,
and a few Lapland Longspurs can be seen in the fields
there.

Good birding,
Fred Urie
Windsor
