Maris and Ontbirders interested in the Red-necked Grebes in Bronte Harbour,
In my opinion the real culprit here is not so much the rain but the grebes themselves. These busy birds had piled a lot of stuff on that tire, the least buoyant of the three put out for them, and this led to it being unbalanced. Pity, by my reckoning the should have been about to hatch. No doubt they will try again. Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road and go to the lake and turn left.
