Ontbirders The bad news first Ontbirds continues to be attacked by the beagle virus. Because this virus is spoofing real email addresses subscribed to Ontbirds I continue inspecting all messages before they are relayed to the list.
The good news is that beagle bark is worse than its bite. Ontbirds filters were successful in stripping the actual virus from the message, the attachment that some people (some email software packages) see is an empty artifact of our filters. All the same I would not strongly recommend not opening any strange attachment. If in doubt don't touch, delete. You can find more information about this virus by visiting one of the anti-virus vendors on the internet such as Norton, MacAffee or Micro Trend. I took several photos, which should soon be added to the OFO photo page. I have seen many Collared Doves in Florida and Europe, so I am confident in my identification. Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I cannot host many people. I also have 2 dogs, but the bird does not seem to concerned with them. I will keep everyone updated on its presence, and if my schedule allows for it, I will provide directions to my home. Andrew Ross London, Ontario [EMAIL PROTECTED]
