This morning, at 9:30, with strong west winds and maybe impending showers for the afternoon, we had a pair of American Avocets in the almost landfilled cell of what is known as "Tollgate Ponds" (2nd from the far north cell). There has been standing water in this cell all summer. Nothing else exciting.
Directions: From the QEW from Toronto, exit Eastport Drive, and follow it over the lift bridge, keep on going until you see the bermed in cells on your right.
