An immature American White Pelican continues to be seen on the Oakville
shoreline. My daughter and I had the bird East of Appleby College, where it
had been previously seen.
DIRECTIONS (from Burlington): Lakeshore Road to Oakville, go two roads East
of Appleby College. Turn right on Shorewood Place and head to the Lake.
Park on the turn around. Follow Oakville Shorewood Promenade to the Lake.
The bird was last seen floating 100 yards off shore at this point at 6:00pm.
