An afternoon owl survey along Mountain Road between Tamworth and Parham revealed 9 Great Gray Owls and 1 Great Horned Owl. 3 more GGO were found along fourth Depot Lake Road 10km south from the Mountain Road exit. Kurt Hennige Tamworth is roughly 30 minutes north of the 401 on County Road 4. Mountain Road runs east from Tamworth. Parham is roughly 40 minutes north from the 401 on Hwy. 38.
