Hi Fellow Birders,

We started out birding this morning in Toronto at the mouth of Humber River.
We could not find the Male Harlequin Duck posted earlier.
Then we were heading down to Grimsby area and made
several stops on the way down.
The most interesting spot was at LP Sayers Park,
where we saw seven King Eiders one male, six females from a very close range.
( at 3:00 PM) The water was exceptionally placid this afternoon and the Eiders
were
just swimming up and down right in front of us about fifty meters from shore.
Pretty amazing experience.

Direction to Sayers Park:

Fruitland Rd - Exit the QEW at Fruitland Rd (just east of Hamilton) exit #83 and
head north, park just before the dead-end, and look offshore.
LP Sayers Park - Continue west along the North Service road from Fruitland Rd,
then at Drakes Ave turn right and follow this to Lakegate Dr and turn right.
The park is located at the end of the road.

Good luck.
Karl & Marienna Egressy

PS: I will have to check the photos yet, I might have a couple good ones of the
Eiders
by tomorrow.
