A number of observers arrived on the platform at Cranberry, only to realize
that the strong night-time NW winds had subsided. Over 3 hours we did count
1 imm. Bald Eagle, 1 Osprey and 2 Kestrels. Two hours later the winds had
picked up, and I recorded 3 Sharp-shinneds and a Kestrel..
Our first WHITE-CROWNED AND FIELD SPARROWS were noted, along with an Eastern
Towhee.

Cranberry is at the south end of Hall's Rd. in southwest Whitby, just north
of the lakefront. It is accessed from Victoria St.
