Weather:
Today was a clear blue virtually cloudless day with light and variable
winds for the most part. The wind did pick up somewhat out of the
southeast by mid afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
Because of the light winds and variable orientation, the flight was spread
over a wide front. Also a function of the lightness of the wind, the day’s
activity took some to develop and it was late morning before any sustained
flight was recorded. It appears that today marked the beginning of the
Turkey Vulture peak, as there was a steady flight of these birds over the
course of the afternoon.
