Early this morning a juv. Northern Gannet passed by Hutches about 8:30 a.m.. The bird then passed by again at 9:20 a.m. and flew along to the Burlington shoreline where it was seen from Sioux Lookout a few minutes earlier. At about 11:20 a group of 5-6 jaegers flew close to shore including 2 Pomarine Jaegers, 1 Long-tailed (I didn't catch any details on this) and a Parasitic. Jaegers have been seen at a distance throughout the morning but perhaps this afternoon they will be in closer. Dress warmly and prepare for the wind!!!
