Before 8am on May 4 a number of birders reported some "good" birds, albeit not 
in great numbers, at Thickson's Woods in southeast Whitby.
Highlights would include:

Blackburnian Warbler (early)
Chestnut-sided W.
Black-throated Green W.
Black-throated Blue W.
Black-and-White W.
Yellow W.
Nashville W.
Palm W.
Wood Thrush
Brown Thrasher
Rose-brested Grosbeak
Lincoln's Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Warbling Vireo
Blue-headed Vireo

Exit the 401 at Thickson Rd. in southeast Whitby--south towards the lakefront, 
turning east along the road that borders the north side of the pine woods.
