There has been light rain and west winds for much of the early morning.

The tremendous warbler activity of yesterday has slowed a bit. Clearing
skies should help.

A possible Cassin's Vireo was seen on the Woodland Nature Trail yesterday.
Photographs taken will be reviewed to determine if this bird will stand as
a new Park record.

Today a Cerulean Warbler was reported from Post Woods.

Birds seen on the Woodland Nature Trail included a Worm-eating Warbler and
a Marsh Wren near # 14. A pair of Scarlet Tanagers entertained people
between #16 and #15. A Canada, a male Hooded, and a singing Tennessee
Warbler were along the trail in the #12 - #13 area.

Mourning , Orange-crowned, Blackburnian, Northern Parula, Blackpoll,
Magnolia , and Ovenbird Warblers were seen on the Shuster and Tilden Woods
Trails. Both Eastern Screech Owls were showing well. Also several Indigo
Buntings and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were seen in this area.

As yet, there are no reports from more northerly portions of the Park.
