I did see one Merlin and several shorebirds including: 2 Stilt Sandpiper, 30 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Semi-palmated Sandpiper, 4 Least Sandpiper, 1 Semi-palmated Plover, 6 Killdeer, and 3 Spotted Sandpiper. There were at least 2 adult Lesser Yellowlegs. Most of the other shorebirds were juveniles. DIRECTIONS to HIGH FALLS : From Hwy 417 take exit 66 towards Casselman. Go about 2 km on Rue Principale St. to the South Nation River. The High Falls Conservation Area is on your right.
