Hi Everyone,
At 12:30 this afternoon (Saturday), I found a still breeding plumaged
Eared Grebe off Burloak Park in Burlington. It was found to the west of the
park not far from shore behind some apartment buildings. The bird was quite
striking as it was in the company of 2 winter plumaged Horned Grebes.
Directions; From the QEW in Burlington, take the Appleby Line exit south,
continue until you reach Lakeshore Road. Turn left(east), continue past
Lakeside Village(plaza), just past here on the right is Burloak Park.
Good Birding , Mark Jennings.
