Much of the day from mid morning onward was a mix of sun and cloud with light south winds becoming light to moderate south-southeast in the afternoon. Raptor Observations: Probably due in large part to the overall unstable weather conditions, the flight was spread out over the whole sky and came in bursts followed by periods of inactivity when there seemed to no birds flying at all. The movement overall today was dominated by Sharp-shins, making up almost 90% of all birds recorded. Non-raptor Observations: Passerines seemed quite active in the early morning when the weather cleared. About a dozen warbler species were seen near the count area. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
