Weather:
Mist, fog and drizzle delayed the beginning of the count today until the
late morning. Overcast conditions prevailed for the remainder of the day
with occasional brighter intervals. Showers moved into the area by mid
afternoon. Winds were light to moderate south-southwest during the early
part of the count becoming light to moderate south-southeast by early
afternoon.








Raptor Observations:
Most of the activity more or less corresponded with the brighter portions
of the day. The flight overall was light and dominated by Sharpies but
highlighted by a couple of good looks at Peregrines. For the day 116 birds
of 7 species were recorded.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays continue to increase in numbers with several thousand seen
migrating pass the watch today along with hundreds of Chimney Swifts and a
couple of Common Nighthawks.
