A Tricolored Heron was seen today at 4:30 p.m. on the shore of Abino Bay on the east side of the base of Point Abino. Point Abino is between Fort Erie and Port Colborne on the north shore near the eastern end of Lake Erie. From Hwy. 3, go south on Point Abino Road. The Tricolored Heron was feeding in shallow water and was visible from Point Abino Road about 0.5 km south of Erie Road.
