Observers: Fred Kirn, Jim Maki

Visitors:

Weather:
Skies were a mix of sun and cloud for much of the day with heavier cloud
cover building into the area in mid afternoon ahead of the frontal system
forecast to come through during the night and into tomorrow. Winds were
moderate from the northeast.

Raptor Observations:
After a bit of a slow start there was considerable activity that quickly
tapered off once the heavier cloud cover developed. Similar to recent
days, much of the movement was TVs and Red-tails with lesser numbers of
other species recorded.

Non-raptor Observations:
White-throated Sparrows, Robins, Hermit Thrushes, both kinglet species and
Rusty Blackbirds, today dominated non-raptor movement.

Predictions:
Rain and thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow with showers/snow flurries
for the remainder of the week. There should be a large movement of birds on
the weekend once all this weather passes.
