Weather:
Overcast conditions prevailed again today with only the occasional brighter
break in the heavy cloud cover. Winds were moderate from the
west-northwest.

Raptor Observations:
The flight was very much as yesterday’s with a similar breakdown in the
numbers of the dominant species (Sharpies and TVs) and the overall
diversity for the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Tree Swallows were the dominant non-raptor species migrating with hundreds
passing by the watch throughout the day. Over the last several days huge
flocks of Red-winged Blackbirds and Starlings have been noted with
individual groups numbering in the thousands.
