Rapid clearing occurred late in the afternoon, signaling the approach of the predicted cold front moving into the area from the west. Winds were moderate southwest becoming fairly strong out of the west in the early afternoon. Raptor Observations: The flight overall was very sparse but highlighted by a juvenile Golden Eagle and an adult Peregrine Falcon. Non-raptor Observations: Good numbers of Tree Swallows were again in attendance today and a single Barn Swallow was also noted.
