Hi Everyone,
Late this afternoon, at Morrison Island on the Ottawa River we observed a male Harlequin Duck. Since 1994, this site has been a "key location" for the Harlequin Duck and Barrow's Goldeneye has been a regular since the early 70's.
Good birding,
Bruce

Directions: To reach Morrison Island from Ottawa take Hwy.417/17 north to
the first Pembroke exit, follow the road to the turn off for Hwy.148 to
Quebec. You will see the rapids between Morrison and Allumentes Islands.
Park east of bridge and walk back.
