Weather:
Sunny skies prevailed throughout the day today although conditions overall
were a bit hazy. Winds were light to moderate southwest early becoming
west during the morning and then southwest again at noon.

Raptor Observations:
Much of the movement today was before the noon hour with the bulk of these
birds overhead and low. Once the wind shifted back to the southwest, the
flight line drifted well to the north before dissipating altogether in the
early afternoon.

Non-raptor Observations:
There was a considerable migration of passerines today, mostly Red-winged
Blackbirds and Grackles along with lesser numbers of Horned Larks,
American Pipits and Lapland Longspurs.
