Greetings Ontbirds people, An amendment to the summary posted yesterday re: the "loon fallout" in Ottawa on 13 November:
In addition to the 178 Red-throated Loons reported in the summary from the Ottawa River, 44 were seen on the river at Dick Bell Park earlier in the morning and subsequently flew south, thus bringing yesterday's total up to 222 birds! Ontbirds readers will have noted that 104 Red-throated Loons were reported today 14 November between Dick Bell Park and Constance Bay. Thanks to Tony Beck and Bruce DiLabio for posting their counts of these numbers to Ontbirds. Good birding! Chris Lewis Ottawa [EMAIL PROTECTED]
