About a half dozen observers were present at the Adam Beck overlook this PM,
from about 1:30 onward to dusk searching for the adult Mew Gull (presumably
of the NA race) that was reported yesterday (Saturday), to no avail. Many
Gulls moving in and out of the area, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is still
on the River...just being in the right location at the right time seems to be
the key.

A number of ICELAND GULLS of various ages were present, along with an
adult THAYER'S, and also the first-basic BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE that tended to
prefer the far (south) corner of the Robert Moses Plant near the fishermen; it
was later seen flying out with Bonaparte's as dusk approached. About 3:30 or
so the adult CALIFORNIA GULL showed up at its usual spot, the close corner,
and was still present as we left.

Hopefully a number of sharp eyes on the River tomorrow will turn up the
Mew!
