Good evening all. A few good winter birds among the usual species for you Winter listers.
- Pipit Point - Purple Sandpiper - This bird was moving from Pipit Point over to the next point north of Pipit Point and back as the Ducks disturbed it so check the rocks closely on the Point and across the bay. - Pipit Point - 2 Red-necked Grebes - most of you probably have this bird already. - Sailboat Bay - 1 Red-throated Loon and 3 male Ring-necked Ducks. - Third hand info but worth checking out (I just heard of it after I got home) - Marina Bay (1st bay on your left as you pass through the second gate) - 1 adult male Barrow's Goldeneye among the 150 to 200 Common Goldeneye.
