Today we found a Peregrine Falcon on 9th Line Road of Wolfe Island.

Take the ferry from Kingston, get off on Wolfe Island and turn left (east)
on Hwy 9. The 9th Line Road is about 2 or 3 km east. We found the Pergrine
on the first trees after turning left onto the road. It was chased off by a
Northern Harrier, stooped at pigeons a few times and returned to its perch.

A few km further est we took Hogan Road and found the bald eagle on tall
deciduous tree off to the left towards the end of the road.

Kingston is reached off Hwy 401. Ferry dock is close to the foot of
Princess Street. Regular free service to Wolfe Island.

On Amherst Island, we saw at least 12 Short Eared Owls hunting over the
fields betweeb the ferry dock snd Owl Woods. Five or six Long Eared Owls in
Owl Woods.
