This morning found 10 Cackling and one Snow goose amongst large Canada
  flock on Lake Scucog at Port Perry.
  Directions: Take Water Street off # 7A. Park at Joe Fowler Pk and scan
  lake.  If  not  there, drive to end of Water St. to Birds-Eye Park and
  scope lake.

Ontbirders

We looked again this afternoon about 2:30 - 3:00. Despite the fact that
there were many more birds than this morning, perhaps 150, we could not see
the California Gull. It may have been there as, with uncanny timing, a huge,
vicious snow squall began as we arrived.
