This pm in Markham : 1 dark adult Snow goose still showing
at Reesor Pond, also Cackling geese, Great black-backed gulls
& Tree sparrows - in the field occupying the NW corner of
Old Markham Bypass & Hwy 16 the first Lesser black-backed,
Iceland and Glaucous gulls of the winter hunkered down
amid mixed flock of other gulls.
The Old Bypass is first street on the N side of Hwy 7 just E
of the Ninth Line while Reesor Pond is just N of Hwy 407 on
Reesor Road in Markham.

I watched a lone Turkey Vulture glide over the TJ Dolan Natural Area in
Stratford today at about 1:00 PM. There was also an immature Coopers Hawk
hunting in the thickets and a lone Wood Duck on the river.
The TJ Dolan Natural Area is in the south-west portion of Stratford along
the Avon River between John Street and Oloane Avenue.
