I observed this heron about 11 this am just south of Derry Rd. on the west side 
of Bronte Rd. It was standing at the edge of small creek keeping a number of 
Mallards company.

One adventurous Robin came out to sing in the warm weather today.  It was
perched at the top of a small maple on Stenson Blvd. just off Brealey Drive
in Peterborough.
