I saw Don's posting of Cooper's Hawk in Ottawa. I didn't realize that a
Cooper's Hawk should be posted. For what it's worth, we have an immature
Cooper's Hawk that visits our neighbourhood (Elmvale) semi-regularly.
Last seen about ten days ago when it was observed killing and then
eating a rock pigeon on Hall Street.

Elmvale Acres is bounded by Smyth Road, Russell Road, and Walkley Road,
south of the St. Laurent Exit off the 417.
