A lonely tree swallow was seen over the Grand River, directly over the bridge in Caledonia today close to noon.

Caledonia is south of Hamilton on Hwy 6. The bird was seen over the Argyle Street bridge. If you are coming from Hamilton, do not take the hwy 6 bypass which leads around Caledonia. Continue south for approx 1 km where you hit the Grand River. Most of the river is frozen still so the bird, I would assume, would be near the open water looking for a frozen dinner.
