Saw 2 male and 1 female Ring-necked Ducks on Rideau River near Smiths Falls today.
Directions from Smiths Falls: Hwy 43 east toward Merrickville, turn right onto Kilmarnock Road and cross Rideau River - ducks were on ice at edge of open water upstream from the crossing. Don Wigle Ottawa
